Bhelpuri vow !!!! doesnt your mouth start watering . But todays bhelpuri is for fasting not the normal bhelpuri chat .I  had seen this recipe on one of tha marathi food channel program.
Peanuts are a source of protein they are rich in magnesium,copper & iron too . A very simple recipe to make phalahari bhel at home with nice combination of crispies .

Upwas (Falahari/phalahari/pharali ) Bhel


1/2 cup Batata Chiwda /chivda
1/2 cup Sadudana Chiwda
1/2 cup boiled potatoes
1-2 chillies chopped finely / coarsely grind ( Adjust number of chillies as per your taste)
1 cup peanut (shengdana ) 
1/2 cup upwas banana wafers ( kelyache wafers)
1/2 cup lemon juice / tamarind chutney ( Some people dont eat tamarind chutney during fast in that case use lemon juice)
1  tsp sugar

Garnishing  :

1/2 cup pomegranate seeds (anar seeds)
1/2 cup chopped coriander ( some people dont eat coriander during fast in that case skip  coriander)

Method :

1. Heat 1 1/2 tsp ghee in a skillet add peanuts .Fry peanuts till they turn golden brown & keep aside.

2. Chop potatoes in cubes & saute them till golden brown & keep aside.

3. Chop chillies finely or coarsely grind in mixer.

4. Mix all  chiwdas together in a bowl ,add roasted peanuts, crushed banana wafers,sauted potatoes ,chopped chillies ,sugar, salt.

5. Add lemon juice / tamarind chutney & mix well .

6. Garnish with pomegranate seeds,coriander leaves & whole banana wafers .

7.Serve immediately.
